I don't mind if I have to be a bird trapped in a cage.
I want to be trapped inside your love.

♥ On Birth, Dreams and Days
On Birth, Dreams and Days

The weekend is our mother and every weekend we dread is the discomfort of birth
severing us from her body. We shriek to be born into a narrowing world of wider loss.

There is daylight and an entire spectrum of noises. It could only be the eldest of pain
way before the uninterested spirit stopped caring and the heart had gone long unconsoled.

I learned that as a child, my dream was everything to me. Adults must never forget
dreams. They must never raise any child without a dream, without this form of longing.

I’ve longed so much to touch flowers underneath the sea, taste the whitest snow,
and jump the highest water fall I can climb. I’ve had more dreams since, I believe

because I never stopped. I live inside my head with all the hours piling as I sit on a desk
to move about clumsily as if to reach within and embrace the mechanisms of my body.

There are narrower days ahead to look forward to, newer noises apart from our voices
and the things we do before finally sleeping. How the day ends is most important me.

Thirty Six

It’s nice sometimes
to open up the heart a little
and let some hurt come in.
It proves you’re still alive.

If nothing else
it says to you–
clear as a high hill air,
uncomfortable
as diving through cold water–

I’m here.
However wretchedly I feel,
I feel.

I’m not sure
why we cannot shake
the old loves
from our minds.
It must be that
we build on memory
and make them more
than what they were.
And is the manufacture
just a safe device
for closing up the wall?

I do remember.
the only fuzzy circumstance
is sometimes where and how.
Why, I know.

It happens
just because we need
to want and to be
wanted, too,
when love is here or gone
to lie down in the darkness
and listen to the warm.

♥ DJ put it back on ♥
I was watching Korean makeup tutorials on YouTube this morning & I came across this one inspired by TaeYeon's look in the "Genie" music video. Didn't have much to do today, so I decided to try it out. :)

Note to self: buy and actually use makeup brushes. Finger-painting can only do so much.

This an attempt to post here more often.

You can learn a lot about someone by the music they listen to. So here is the game! Hit shuffle on your ipod or mp3 player and write down the first 25 songs. No cheating or skipping songs that are shameful. That is the fun! Then tag your friends.

♥ Dear my friends
(I suppose I should post here more often. I should finish tweaking this too.)

Moving on-- I was tagged by Rin to do this. :)

First of all, state 5 interesting facts about the person that awarded you:
★ I met Rin through Sachi on Livejournal.
★ No one should listen to her when she says she's a bad singer; she's lying. She's really, really good.
★ Rin says "eeeeeh~!" a lot, especially when she's being bullied.
★ She say's she's going to be in Hello!Project someday. I believe her.
★ She is butt-crazy in love with Keito Okamoto. THIS IS TRUFAX.

Next, state 10 facts about yourself :
1 → I like touching my neck when I'm walking idly.
2 → Shame that coming from a musical family, I cannot play any instrument. At all.
3 → I blame 15++ years of education in exclusive Catholic schools for screwing me up.
4 → I did ballet for eight years, hiphop & jazz for nine months, and breakdance for one summer.
5 → I love shopping in ukay-ukays, even if I have money for branded clothes.
6 → My LiveJournal is six years old.
7 → When I was younger, I wanted to be Little Miss Philippines. I considered Aiza Seguerra to be my greatest rival.
8 → I have this certain dislike for statement shirts. It makes me think you don't have enough personality that you have to let your shirt do the talking. Plus, it gives people more reason to look at your chest longer than they have to. /o/
9 → I want to learn how to say "Hi Shirota. I want your babies. Yes, this hallway is fine, now drop your pants." in Japanese.
10 → When I was ten, I broke my elbow & sported a green cast for a month. I yelled "kamao ng liwanaaag!!" every chance I got.

The people who receive this award aaaaare:
Everyone was tagged by Rin already, so go do this if you want! \o/

♥ Blame games
Last week's brouhaha is so last week & I should forget about it. I should be thankful for the opportunity, the experience, and oh god yes, I can finally sleep in peace without dreaming of charts & graphs of youth studies.

Not holding out for universal popularity or anything, but we all could have done without your nega-vibes. .__.

You can also stalk me on Tumblr.

Bless the little queen
Hi, I'm Kang & I'm very sure I'm not Korean. I really like Japanese idols though; enough to make me want to go to Akihabara & spend the remainder of my youth prancing in tiny skirts in front of really sad men. While that hasn't happened yet, I'm here in Manila; in bookstores, not buying anything; in ukay-ukays, buying lots; in my Catholic college, being slightly below-average; in pictures, looking moronic.
